My wife has been diagnosed with Transformed Migraine / Chronic Daily Headache for 8 years now. She always describes her pain as behind her left eye and it feels like someone is trying to push her eye out and complains of pressure. She has aura as well as nausea with these migraines. Her average daily pain number is a 7. When these peak to a 10, we go to the emergency room and get a shot of Neubain, Ativan, Benedryl and Phenegin which brings it back down to a 7. My wife is currently on Topamax, Neurotin, Atenolol, Lexapro and has tried all the catagories of migraine preventative. She uses Stadol Nasal Spray, Tramadol, Benedryl, Ativan, Xanax and Tylenol. For nausea she uses 50 mg Phenegan suppository and 25 mg tablets. We have tried Botox, Acupunture, Chiropractic and Dietary Management. She has taken Butterbar and Feverfew. We have been to 11 different Neurologist, Mayo Clinic, Park Nicollet Headache Clinic in the Twin Cities, Medical Advanced Pain Specialist Clinics, EENT physician. She has had sinus surgery twice. Is there some surgical intervention for people who suffer from chronic daily headache with my wifes symptoms. Can you freeze or remove nerves to eradicate the signal. We have tried just about everything but to no resolution. Please help if you are able. Thank you.
